Come join us on this History Tour in Joliet, IL. We will first visit the Old Joliet Prison which first Started housing prisoners in 1858 until 2002. Its history and architecture is fascinating. Then we’ll have a guide tour of the Jacob Henry Mansion as well as a delicious meal. It’s the largest and best example of Renaissance Revival Architecture standing in the State of Illinois built in 1873. To complete our tour our next visit will be at the Rialto Square Theatre built in 1926. It’s considered one of the top ten most beautiful theatres in the Nation. We’ll get a guided tour of the theatre then enjoy an organ concert in the auditorium. Step back in time with this wonderful history tour!
